<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">So - should I wait for the exteneded version of it? Or should I be greedy and get the theatrical version and see if I can sell it cheap? We're being told by retail and industry sources to expect the 2-disc edition of Columbia TriStar's Hellboy on 7/27. A more elaborate 3-disc director's version will street later in 2004. We'll post all the details as soon as these titles are officially announced.

I probably wont be able to wait for the second one
That is going to be my problem. Not having seen it in the theaters I am going to want to jump on it. But then the only movie that I deinately don't have a problem buying both versions of has been the LOTR trilogy. I know I am doing it for Spider-man, but Superbit is something different.
I am going to try to wait for the extended, but I am not sure if I am going to be able to with all the info that I have heard from everyone on the movie.
Rent it when it first comes out, then buy the extended. I'll sweat it out until the extended hits, personally. (Although I did see it in theaters)
yup, that's what i usually do
Wait for the Director's Cut But if you find yourself jonesing to see it, do like was mentioned above and rent the threatrical release.

The only problem with that is I refuse to rent anything.
Yes I am being anal, but after numerous problems with the previous person at this address. They have moved, but haven't updated their address with the local Block Buster. I kept getting saddled with all their late fees and finally after getting it all sorted out, I refuse to 1) try again from that chain, or 2) Drive as far as the next chain to rent (too much of a hassle to do it).
What I dont like at all is you go out and buy some 2-disk version and a year or two later, the movie company re-releases a better quality/lobger/more features version, this after I spent 18,19, 20+ bucks. Thats business I guess.
